Armory Pump Track Construction Update

6/7/2018

FAMB's Armory Pump Track construction is in full swing!! Big shout out to Midway Rentals for donating the use of their skidsteers. We also send out heartfelt thanks to all of you who donated to FAMB to support this project in the 2017 Great Fish Community Challenge, and to the City of Whitefish for working with us to make this project possible. What you're seeing here is the initial shaping of the track. The next step is to get an excavator to do some more fine tuned shaping, hopefully next week. We're hoping to have the shaping, including hand work, done by the end of June. Then, we'll move on to landscaping in the form of grass, mulch, and weedmat, with a solution that involves as little maintenance as possible. Our goal is to have everything but the seeding/sodding done by August, with that happening once the weather is more friendly for new grass in the fall. Stay tuned...we'll let you all know when the Armory Pump Track is ready for riding!!
